Julie Kerry – Director and Founding Member

Julie Kerry

Julie is a nurse leader who has spent most of her Career Leading Mental Health and Learning Disability services, with a wide range of recent experience of operational and strategic delivery within the NHS and independent sector, and most recently Social Care.

Her core principles and values are underpinned by her professional nursing background and include: 

  • Co-Production – keeping the service user at the centre of all we do
  • Improving access and equality for vulnerable groups
  • Working in partnership with families to deliver better outcomes
  • Providing kind, compassionate care

Julie was instrumental in the original bringing together of the families that, through sharing experiences and a common purpose, created Making Families Count. Julie has an ongoing commitment to coproducing with families and a wealth of health and social care experience that will help support and shape our work.
